Our project

Like the spiral, I turned around for a while, on my way, before finding the flame that would revive me. From being a teacher, I find myself a learner: I discover another world, a new job, I relearn languages. From passing on, I move on to reception, while keeping in mind the need to meet and share with young and old alike. From being focused on my own little world, I open up to others, to meet new people, to the planet; I allow myself to go beyond my comfort zone and to explore what will come my way.

After months of reflection with my husband about our family organization, our impact on the planet, the efforts we have made and need to make (and our inconsistencies, too) and the search of houses that would lend themselves to this project, we came across this beautiful house for which we fell in love. Big enough to accommodate our “small” family and the guest rooms, bright, it also allows our children to be independent. With a small garden as a bonus, right in the city center… this is the dream house!

Cochlea is set to grow. That is why we kept the “et bla bla bla”, which says “no fuss” as well as openness to new things. It will evolve over time, as children grow up, as time I’ll have, too!

Themed and personalized stays, workshops, exhibitions of local artists, ethical and solidarity-based collaborations … Ideas abound.
